Heart in Hands

I may have been
Unwilling to unlock my
Heart for you

But it’s been resting
In your hands all these
Years anyway

Lets

Lets
Stand
In the middle of a field

Under the dark sky

And the bright full moon

Lets
Stand
Towards each other

Cold as the Rain

Posted on November 21, 2013 by Jesswithpoems

I feel cold as the rain
Swallows me whole

A mood echoes behind
My eyes

I cannot grasp the air
All the words fill it

And I am silenced by fear

or you

and me

That Moment

Posted on November 12, 2013 by Jesswithpoems

That moment
Fog lifting from the lake

Silent crisp air
My stubbornness

I see you
Walking to me

And I still grasp
For
Different

A change in the past

I Want to See You

Posted on October 21, 2013 by Jesswithpoems

1

I want to see you
To feel your skin in my hands

I want to feel your lips on mine
To see your smile and hug me

Caution leads me
Keeps me from running to you

I no longer fear being hurt
I fear your indifference
