No More Oceans

I see now

where to go

I tried to fly

across the ocean

To find the islands

they all write about

But I am no seagull

only a lone eagle

I will rebuild my nest

high on the mountains

And fly

on the roughest currents

If only you could see

The stars when it rained

The purity & clarity

To wash your soul and tears

I feel sand between fingers

And a beach with endless shores

Just to touch the water
