Cried on the Porch

I displayed moments of my personality
you kept them in your corner

I made my echoes heard in the room
you manipulated the sound with windows

I drew lifetimes onto the walls
You ripped down the wallpaper

I walked out the door
And you shut it behind me

I cried on the porch
And you had moved away

  1. I like the emotion behind your poem. It appears here that you at odds with one who moved away. Each verse also hints at a sense of unrequited love! Very nice! ๐Ÿ˜€
